Pru Wilson - Contemporary Fusion

Pru Wilson has just returned to Australia from living, dancing, teaching and performing in the UK and also around Europe for the past two and a half years! Here is a brief description on how Pru explains Contemporary Fusion: 

Contemporary fusion is a combination of various contemporary techniques mixed with a aspect of urban choreography and hip hop foundations. Music choice is a large inspiration for the movement and musicality is focused on. This is a open class so all are welcome if you love to dance, come open minded and lets move together! 

Pru Wilson began her dance training on the Gold Coast, Australia. From a young age she trained in a variety of styles, including: ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, acrobatics, musical theatre & hip-hop. She later moved to Melbourne, Australia to complete a Diploma in Dance Performance and her Associate in Musical Theatre.
Pru moved to London in July 2015, and in that time has become a member of Boy Blue Entertainment & House of Jazz. She has performed at; Dancer’s Delight, World of Dance (UK), Show & Prove, Hotstepper, PJD Showcase (Rome, Italy), Freaky Art Show (Paris, France) and choreographed for Art Lover Ground & Manelogui Summer Show (Saint Bazeille, France).
Pru Wilson is a faculty member at Studio 68 London, and has taught internationally.  She has taught workshops throughout; Australia, France, UK, and the Philippines.
Pru Wilsons performing credits include: Guy Sebastian’s ‘Gold’ film clip, Art vs Science ‘Higher’ film clip, LA & Sydney Carnival, Melbourne Underground, ‘Wild Eagles Fly Alone’ with Redback Dance Co and a number of performance’s with Sole Symphony Hip Hop Crew. 

Ziga Mlakar - Hip Hop

Ziga Mlakar is an incredible choreographer, teacher and dancer this class is not to be missed if you love hip hop. We are lucky enough to have him over in Australia for a short time only all the way from his home town Slovenina in Europe. 

Ziga's hip hop class will include knowledge from a wide spectrum of street styles and freestyle that he implements into his choreography. He is know for his unique style of choreography, so you better not miss out on learning from him! 

Ziga Mlakar was born and raised in Slovenia. Ziga is a member and a main choreographer for The Artifex Crew, who became well known for being finalists on ‘Solvenia’s Got Talent in 2011. The crew members went on to successfully open the RTFX studios in 2012.  Ziga has a wide spectrum of street styles knowledge and training, which he implements in his choreography.  His crew and team choreographies have placed at a number of competitions across Europe. In 2015 he and Katjusa Premk his duo partner were named the National and World Champion in hip hop adults duos. Most recently won 2017 IDO World Championions and the winners at Kamatar in Belgium. 

Ziga also has a number of performing credits including; Fresh Island Festival, Britain’s Got Talent, Jay Sean, Dancer’s Delight, Boy Blue Entertainment, Marjua Masle Concert tour, World Of Dance with Ryan Leslie, EVE and the Opening Ceremony of EuroBasket. Along with featuring in several music video clips for Slovenian artists.

2015 Ziga moved to London to pursue his career even further.  Becoming a factuality member at Studio 68, along with travelling back to Slovenia regularly to train groups and give private lessons for upcoming competitions.  Also traveling to other studios and camps across Europe to share his passion and knowledge – which he hopes to be able to do even more in the near future.
