Come to this fun tribal fusion belly dance workshop where you will learn lots of techniques and a fun gypsy style coreo!
Tribal fusion belly dance is a modern Western form of #bellydance which was created by fusing american tribal style and belly dance with other dance styles. Artists frequently incorporate elements from popping and locking, layering , hip hop, Egyptian and cabaret belly dancing as well as movement principles from traditional form such as flamenco , Kathak , Odissi dance and other folkloric and classical dance styles. In this workshop get ready for some balkan flavour and gypsy style music!
What to expect:
For absolute beginner: this would be a fun and dynamic approach to this amazing dance style! No worries if you can't get all, the important is to learn some basic movement techniques and have fun dancing the coreo
For intermediate belly dancer: you will learn a fun coreo that you can dance with your dancing buddy! And get some unique Gypsy style movement!
What to wear:
Come to class in comfy pants or a skirt (not fitted so that you can move around in the class) and a gym or loose fitting top. A crop top or bare midriff is optional and most dancers either bring a scarf to tie around their hips or a tassel or fringe belt. Dance shoes optional and bring along a towel and water bottle.
